• SPM International Hand Held Vibration Meter VIB-11 and 10
  
• Vibrameter VIB-10/11 is a hand-held instrument for periodic measurements, to detect out-of-balance, misalignment and other mechanical faults in rotating machines. The instrument and the measuring technique are based on ISO recommendation 2372 (BS 4675, VDI 2056) for general assessment of machine condition by measuring vibration severity. Kit includes: Vibrameter, sensor and cable, magnetic base, 2" stinger probe, AA batteries, carrying case and instruction manual.
  
• The vibration severity measurement is a very efficient monitoring method for detecting such common machine faults as imbalance, structural weakness, loose parts etc. Few input data are needed and it is easy to apply. The evaluation is based on international industrial standard. ISO 10816. The measurement returns the RMS value of vibration velocity in mm/s or inch/s.
  
• The majority of industrial machinery belongs to the vibration classes 2,3, and 4:
  
• Class 2: Medium size machines without special foundation
  
• Class 3: Large machines on rigid foundations
  
• Class 4: Large machines on soft foundations.
